Vacation + Homemade Playdough = Happiness

Nothing beats being on vacation and playing with homemade playdough that your mom helped your son make.  We are having lots of fun despite the fact that Little Guy came down with a nasty cold/flu the first day we got here.

We went shopping today and I did something that I usually have a hard time doing.  I spent money on something I wanted, not necessarily something I needed.  My bathroom is getting a total makeover as a result.  Thank you T.J. Maxx for making this possible.

Who knew someone could be so excited over a new shower curtain and a couple of towels?

Congrats on the new bathroom! I have been wanting to do that for a while, as you know. Maybe I will get up the gusto to do it myself.

I've never been to your blog before today, and I wanted you to know how much sweet Michael's story has touched me. I had a miscarriage several months ago, and while I don't believe that it was as traumatic as a stillbirth, I am still grieving.

As it is,I have 8 children, and the 7th is suffering from a progressive terminal disease. He is 3 years old and we are very thankful for every day that we have with him. I do not think for one minute that we could survive these losses were it not for our faith. You have my most heartfelt prayers.

I found your blog through your lovely blog design site. I emailed you yesterday wondering when you would be taking custom orders again, and I wanted to apologize if doing so intruded on your grief. I wrongly assumed that you were just extra-busy and not taking orders b/c of being behind or something. I look forward to hearing back from you **when you are ready.** Your designs are so lovely and I know that a design by you will be worth the wait!

Blessings,
Kate
